Wyclef Jean has tapped into his Haitian spirit by using music and festivities to shed light on the dire need for help and funds in his homeland. He was on hand for the launch of Hope, Help, & Relief Haiti in New York on Monday. Throughout his career, Wyclef has used his celebrity to bring awareness to the needs of Haiti, a nation that faced struggles even prior to the earthquake. Following this natural disaster, Wyclef found his "true destiny," he told "The Insider." Mary J. Blige, who performed a lot of songs from her vast catalogue, said, "You have to put yourself in their shoes and think if it was you, you would want people to come out in the same capacity and help you get out of the situation you're in." The images plastered throughout the media of the people struggling in Haiti have inspired Gayle King to be active in supporting recovery efforts. She also spoke about another tragedy--the death of Michael Jackson. On his physician, Dr. Conrad Murray, being charged with involuntary manslaughter earlier in the day, Gayle responded, "It just doesn't make sense that Michael Jackson died at the age of 50...You want somebody to be held responsible for that. Whether this charge is correct, I don't know enough about it." Gayle was one of the select few lucky enough to be in the loop of the much-talked about Super Bowl commercial featuring Jay Leno, David Letterman, and her BFF Oprah Winfrey. She called it a "shockeroo" and reported to ET that, as an eyewitness to the top-secret shoot, "everybody played nicely."

Just weeks before Jay Leno is scheduled to return to "The Tonight Show," the comedian appeared in a Super Bowl commercial with his late night rival David Letterman and fellow talk show host Oprah Winfrey.   "This is the worst Super Bowl party ever," Letterman exclaims as the camera pans to reveal that he is seated on a couch with Winfrey and Leno. "He's just saying that cause I'm here," Leno bites back. "Late Show" executive producer Rob Burnett told the New York Times that the idea to film a Super Bowl party with Winfrey sitting between the late night rivals was Letterman's idea. "Dave wrote the bit himself," Burnett disclosed. "He just thought: it's the Super Bowl, you're supposed to entertain people." After the smoke has cleared, "The Insider" wants to know: Letterman vs. Leno: Who came out on top after the Super Bowl ad aired? Give us your thoughts in the comments below, than take our poll to tell us: What side are you on?

Jay Leno David Letterman, Pictures: Jay Leno Cracks David Letterman Jokes
--------------------------------------------
Jay Leno and David Letterman took Super Bowl viewers by surprise Sunday afternoon. Perhaps the most talked about commercial around the watercooler on Monday was Jay Leno’s guest appearance in a promo for "The Late Show with David Letterman." The two late-night talk show hosts, with Oprah Winfrey sandwiched in the middle, shared a couch to view the game as buddies. On Monday night, Jay explained how this came to fruition, crediting his "old friend" with the idea. Dave's producer contacted Jay's producer to see if he would be game. Jay said, "No matter what animosity there is between comedians, a good joke is a good joke." Both parties had to keep their lips sealed, not even able to reveal the secret to their own staffs. Jay hopped on a flight to New York and pulled up to the Ed Sullivan Theater in an SUV with an entourage of security. In a disguise including a mustache and hood, Jay entered to film the spot. Back on the west coast, NBC executives called Jay in for a meeting to warn him they thought President Barack Obama had recorded a commercial for the rival show because of the security measures surrounding the SUV outside the studio. Even Jay's own bosses were in for a surprise on Sunday. Jay thanked Dave for asking him to participate and said that the hard feelings of their tumultuous past "disappeared." He joked that the reunited pair, who parted ways 18 years ago, will team up again—this time in the two-man luge competition at the 2010 Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver.

Jay Leno Pictures: Jay Leno Laughs Off Hospitalization

He was a little too late. A crew member from "The Late Show with David Letterman" tried to make a pitch to Jay Leno. Interrupting David's monologue on Monday, stage manager Biff Henderson walked on stage with a newspaper in hand asking, "Is Jay Leno still here?" Dave responded with a laugh, "No, no, he left several days ago." Dave apologized to Biff who wanted to give Jay a "hilarious headline" for his weekly featured segment. A native of Indianapolis, David found some good in the Colts' loss. He said he's no longer the "biggest disappointment" of his home state of Indiana. With the response his commercial with Jay and Oprah Winfrey is receiving, David seems to be walking away from Super Bowl Sunday as a champ of comedy. Jokingly, he thanked "the actors who played Oprah and Jay Leno. They did a tremendous job."
